The Island Waterworks Process

After meeting with our design consultant and laying out a plan for your custom irrigation system. Our office will schedule a time for your installation. Island Waterworks realizes and understands that everyone is busy so we offer appointments Monday through Saturday to fit your schedule. We will contact you the day before to confirm your sprinkler installation.

On the day of the installation, we will arrive at the scheduled time. The process begins by walking around the property with you to discuss the details of the installation. This is done by flagging out the property for the sprinkler head locations, explaining the plumbing aspects, and answering any questions that you may have. Once this has been completed, we will then proceed with the installation.

Our professional plumber will need to access the indoor plumbing. We will access the copper plumbing after the water meter and before any water softeners or filtration systems you may have. We will install a separate turn-on/off valve specifically for the sprinkler system.

Once the sprinkler system is fully installed, we will adjust the sprinkler heads and clean up the property. We will teach you the functions of the automatic controller, sprinkler head adjustments, and the rain sensor settings.
